As a major provider of further, higher and adult education to over 10,000 students, their staff have quality at the heart of everything they do.

They are now looking to appoint a Photography specialist who can respond flexibly and pro-actively to the changing needs of the School.

Within the role, you will produce schemes of work, monitor their delivery, supervise assessment, provide internal verification and liaise with external verifiers/moderators as required. You must ensure programmes of work are conceived and delivered in ways which meet the needs of individual learners whilst contributing to the development of existing and new provision.

In order to be successful in this role, candidates must hold a Degree or a relevant professional qualification relevant to the subject and have high level practical photographic studio skills in order to teach studio and location photography up to undergraduate level. Recognised as a good or better teacher, you will have experience of successfully monitoring and supporting ‘at-risk' learners to achieve or exceed their potential and be receptive to new ideas, with a creative approach to problem solving.

Hardworking and flexible with high personal standards and expectations, you will have the ability to work well under pressure to agreed deadlines and be fully conversant with relevant Adobe software applications. We also ask that you have a strong commitment to equality and diversity, safeguarding, personalised learning and the provision of educational excellence.

Those who do not hold a teaching qualification must be willing to achieve one in line with current regulations.
