Our client is one of the largest and oldest independent Builders' Merchants in the east of England with fourteen diverse sites. They are able to meet the needs of the professional builder and decorator, and those of their private customers.

Joining their Colchester branch as Heavyside Shop Supervisor, you will manage, lead and develop all staff within the department, achieving financial and business targets and objectives to include establishing them as the ‘Retailer of Choice' in its market.

Delivering excellent customer service and meeting customer requirements, you will direct and implement department sales promotions and merchandising whilst controlling costs and maintaining stock levels for maximum profitability.

They are looking for an individual who has a strong customer focus and previous supervisory experience. With the ability to deliver results through a team, you will be comfortable dealing with customers and closing sales whilst understanding how to manage and maintain stock levels.

Knowledge of heavyside building materials is not essential but candidates who have this would be advantageous.
