Asset Manager

We have an opportunity for an Asset Manager to join us in Colchester. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and will receive a salary of £50,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Benefits

Colne Housing is a long term property investment company with responsibility for managing property assets worth £200 million. We are commercially minded with a core focus on social value.

The Asset Manager provides leadership to the technical delivery team at Colne who are responsible for asset condition, asset investment and replacement and renewal.  High quality, well performing assets provide secure and comfortable homes for Colne's customers.  Effective asset management will grow the size and the quality of the asset base over time.

Responsibilities of our Asset Manager

- Lead on the procurement of Colne's asset supply chain of consultants and contractors. Act as the client lead on contractor and consultant management to deliver anticipated outcomes in quality and price. Procurement of the supply chain and first class management of contractors and consultants is an essential element of the role.

- Shape and deliver a value for money strategy for Colne's assets, through an intelligent, data-led investment plan, excellent value for money supply chain arrangements and first class project and programme management skills.

- Implement a strong, robust performance culture, setting, monitoring and improving upon performance results that drive customer satisfaction.
