We are a not-for-profit organisation and operate in over 150 local authority areas-managing around 19,000 Retirement and Extra Care apartments and provide over 80,000 hours of care each week to more than 31,000 customers.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to recruit to the position of a Business Intelligence Developer based from our Head Office in Birmingham.

Within this exciting role the successful candidate will focus on provision of Business Intelligence and Management Information using MS SQL server technologies including SSIS, SSAS and SSRS.

The successful candidate will be educated to Degree level or have equivalent experience, coupled with experience in relational database design, Data Warehouse design, systems integration and SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS and SSRS.

With experience of working with chart of accounts and financial hierarchies, and of ETL from Oracle Databases to SQL Server, you will be knowledgeable in the incremental processing of SSAS OLAP cubes as well as the implementation and monitoring of incremental data warehouse loads.

Having hands on ETL development experience using SSIS, you will also have involvement in relational and multi-dimensional data modelling, including multiple source systems from databases and flat files, and the use of standard data modelling tools.

If along with the above you have the ability to troubleshoot issues to third line support level, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organisational skills and have the ability to work under pressure and unsupervised we would love to hear from you.

Please note this role does require some level of flexibility on working hours as Housing & Care 21 support needs to be covered 0800 to 1800, Monday - Friday. As a key role, the post holder may be required to work extra hours during evenings and weekends if required by timescales or essential support. It may also be necessary to work extra hours to contribute to IS Service Level Agreements and IS Operational Level Agreements.

Some travel may occasionally be required.
