Contractor resource is required to supplement Strategic Change & IT headcount to support delivery of the investment runway, and strategic initiatives
* Medium to large delivery cross-functional business change projects with some potential for stakeholder complexity.
* Work with a sponsor to translate a business opportunity into a well defined and planned project, enabling a safe decision on investment.
* Establish robust and challenging delivery schedules, clearly showing what, how, who and when and highlighting the critical path.
* Monitor and control progress v plan, identifying and focussing on the 'hot spots' and responding effectively to shortfalls.
* Deliver key project messages (verbal and written) with clarity, engaging stakeholders, gaining buy-in and creating positive impact.
* Establish appropriate monitoring and control regime with external suppliers of visibility and quality assurance.
* Deploy risk management approaches and actively manage risks - with focus on the key areas that threaten the success of the project.
* Considers the implications for the required business outcome, not just the project delivery when analysing issues and creating plans.
* Engages and manages stakeholders effectively, resolving their issues.
* Manage internal and external dependencies, highlighting and challenging assumptions and risks.
* Execute the plan, monitoring progress and taking the necessary corrective actions.
* Identify and manage the risks.
* Manage the expectations of the business areas.
* Manage external suppliers.
* Help define and actively manage the critical success factors for the project.

To ensure your success in this role you will have experience of;
- Managing responses via a central e-mail address
- Recording results and ensuring the database is updated (plus gaps in responses identified)
- Monitoring responses and ensuring queries are escalated/recorded/tracked as they arise.
- Maintaining the database during the gap analysis exercise - it's estimated there will be over a thousand records of processing activity to record
- Must have worked in a Life & Pensions or Financial Services environment
- Provide a comprehensive administrative support service, ensuring all company and regulatory guidelines are adhered to
Experience
- Experience of working under pressure, using own initiative and with > minimal supervision
- Experience of communicating effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Experience of working in a support and administrative role, preferably in a Financial Services environment
Knowledge
- Detailed knowledge of relevant IT software package including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Office
- Working knowledge of industry best practice, good network/links with external bodies and individuals in the same field
- Working knowledge of Prudential products, systems and distribution methods
- Working knowledge of financial services regulatory and legislatory frameworks
