Situated a few miles north of the Cambridge Science Park, this company has vacancies for Assembly/Production Operatives in its Cable Assembly division .
In addition to assembling cabling systems, panels, enclosures and sub-systems the duties also include fault finding, repairing and the refurbishment of customers' equipment. This involves the use of manual and semi-automated tooling. Previous experience working in a production environment handling electronic and electrical parts is highly desirable.
The company is ISO 9001: 2008 certified; a continual comprehensive training programme is implemented to ensure Operatives gain the ongoing skills required to meet the quality objectives of the business.
Working hours are 37.5 hours per week: Monday - Thursday 8.15 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Friday - 8.15 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. The role is initially temporary with a view to going permanent for the right candidate.
