Lifting Equipment Inspector / Crane Engineer

One position available in the Southampton brance and one opportunity available in the Crawley branch

£12.50 per hour D.O.E + performance related bonus + vehicle

Following recent rapid growth our client is seeking Crane Engineers / Lifting Equipment Inspectors. If you would like to join a fast growing independent lifting equipment company they are looking for Inspectors and Engineers based in their Crawley and Southampton Depots.

Lifting Equipment Inspector Position Summary

• Refurbishment/ Modernisation of Cranes, Hoists and Lifting Equipment
• Crane installation, inspection, testing and commissioning
• To carry out maintenance and identify potential mechanical and electrical problems To carry out service follow-up
• To attend emergency breakdowns, identify faults and carry out effective repairs
• To document all site visits​

Key Skills/Experience

• Previous specialist experience in a similar role is essential
• Must be a competent industrial electrician and/or mechanically apprentice trained (NVQ level 3 or above)
• Must be able to work on your own, as part of the Service Team
• The individual should be self-motivated, responsible and prepared to travel throughout the UK

Suitable skills / experience: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Service Engineer
