Senior C# Software Developer - Central London
Position: C# Software Developer in test / SDET (Senior)
Location: London
Salary: £60,000- £80,000 Per Annum + Pension
Job type: Permanent
We are looking for C# SDETs experienced in Specflow that we are looking to interview. Offices in Watford, client is based mostly around London area. Please expect further travel also.
Consultancy company-so expect a variety of clients, working with people from a variety of roles. (benefit if they already have this experience.)
2 stage Interview
1st-Telephone interview with HR Team. Basic tech background check.
2nd-Face 2 face-with one of the Directors, Technical/written tests.
Candidates have to be client facing and represent the company well with their coding and communication skills.
About the role:
Test Automation and setting up frameworks on multiple application types and platforms: Web, Mobile, Desktop, Services
Coding automated test scripts, in accordance with industry-standard best-practice
Contributing to the planning, design and implementation of test automation frameworks using best-practice techniques and principles
Business facing/ working closely with the project team
About you (ideally)
Extensive experience of BDD and TDD Methodologies
Strong Agile testing skills
Degree Qualified or equivalent
Experience of creating test scenarios and acceptance tests against user stories
Excellent communication and team-working skills
Technical Skills (ideally)
Strong technical skills with C#
Solid API and Web Services testing skills (REST, WebAPI)
Exposure to Specflow / Gherkin tools for Behaviour Driven Development (BDD)
Solid experience of implementing Automation Testing
Experience of NUnit test development
Understanding of Object-Oriented (OO) Design
Familiar with databases and knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
Experience with distributed source control (Git/Stash)
Experience using JSON/XML objects
Desirable
MVC pattern
Continuous Integration (Team City, Jenkins or other)
PowerShell scripting
