A well-respected authorised SAAB/Vauxhall service centre looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy Service Centre in Glossop. We are developing the business and this will also include the installation of an MOT bay. Salary negotiable with relevant experience.

Job Role Based in a busy workshop environment you will be required to undertake all levels of car repairs/maintenance as well as completing standard servicing and fault diagnosis. Experience in Tyre fitting, laser wheel alignment and MOT testing and repairs, including welding would be useful.

You must be capable of following the repair process from fault analysis to completion as well as road testing vehicles, etc.

Candidate Requirements You must be Qualified to City Guilds Level 3 in Light Vehicle Mechanics, Maintenance Repair or equivalent. You must be a current fully qualified vehicle technician with at least 5 years' experience and have a proven track record of quality workmanship. MOT Licence would be preferred but not essential. Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 3 Penalty Points.
