Customer Service Assistant
Lansdown, BA1
30 hours per week
Hay 10 (£18,070 - £20,138 pro rata)
Our client is recruiting for a suitably qualified and experienced Customer Service Assistant to provide customer service and administrative support at their South West Command and Development Centre to ensure it operates efficiently and effectively
The South West Command and Development Centre (SWCDC) is a resource shared with other Fire & Rescue Services, Local Authorities, Police, Ambulance, and Level One Responders. The Centre operates Assessment and Development Centres, simulated command exercises and is also a resource for meetings, seminars and training activities.
Position Summary
As Customer Service Assistant, your duties will include an array of duties including;
• reception service, dealing with room booking requests, and being responsible for setting up the rooms and providing necessary equipment, materials and refreshments.
• Produce and distribute agendas and programmes for events, and liaise with attendees.
Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate must have the required skills and experience to undertake this role, including;
• 3 GCSE passes at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language.
• You will be computer literate with experience of word-processing, databases and spreadsheets (MS Office), and have experience of working in a customer service environment.
