Commercial Manager

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a well-established company!

Company

Established since 1975, the company was commissioned to carry out building work packages for major Scottish house-builders. Subsequently the company branched out into construction, in the agricultural and food industry sectors, before the civil engineering arm experienced a vibrant period of growth in the utilities sector at Mossmorran following the petro-chemical boom in Scotland.

Role and responsibilities

• Management, preparation and submission of tender information
• Financial control of live contracts
• Submission of interim valuations through to agreeing final accounts
• Negotiation, appointment and control of sub-contractors

Candidate Requirements

Previous experience within a similar role

Must be experienced in all aspects of modern construction activities and be fully conversant

With all current construction legislation and contract requirements

Knowledge of current mechanical and electrical contracts would be advantageous
