Sales Executive / Account Manager / Business Development / B2B Sales / IT Services / Telecoms

Sales Executive with 1+ years' experience in B2B sales / account management in hosted IT services and a Full UK Driving License with access to a car is needed for our client, a well-established IT company based in Winchester.

The Company:

For over 11 years, they have been delivering hosted IT and telecoms solutions as a one stop shop to a portfolio of customers, both SME and corporate, with clients all across the UK. Their customers find them refreshing with their proactive prevention rather than cure approach with excellent customer service. Their cloud services are backed up with robust, reliable technical solutions which just turn on like a light switch - they don't talk techy, they just deliver. The currently support thousands of users across their portfolio of services. They manage the traditional/hosted IT and telecoms infrastructure, and also deliver hardware, cabling, pat testing and furniture amongst other things and take care of the health and safety aspect of IT as well.

The Role:

  • Maintaining relationships with existing key clients
  • Seeking out business opportunities with existing customers and channels, developing and submitting profitable new proposals, and closing the business for the company
  • Ensuring the company CRM system is kept up-to-date with all own opportunities and quotes, with the assistance of the Operations Manager when required
  • Assisting with credit control activities as and when required

Requirements:

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own car
  • 1+ years' sales / account management experience
  • 1+ years' experience within IT / Telecoms solution sales in a B2B environment, with an extensive contact base / network of clients
  • 1 year negotiation experience
  • Demonstrable track record of developing sales and closing business in a fast paced IT/Telecoms environment
  • Demonstrable record of working to/exceeding a sales target, within a cost budget
  • Natural sales ability
  • Self-motivated and able to prioritise and manage own workload, as well as those within your team
  • High level of computer literacy, Competent Microsoft office
  • Good problem solving skills with common sense approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deal with challenging customers
  • Sociable and personable
  • Loyal and trustworthy

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 per annum
