Senior Telesales Executive (Media)- £20,000-£23,000+Commission - Hereford, Herefordshire

My client is a leading publishing company within the Public Sector and in particular Housing arena. Due to exciting growth we are looking to bring on a Senior TeleSales Executive (Media)

The Senior Telesales Executive (Media) will be responsible for increasing maximum levels of subscriptions and advertising (volume and revenue) by selling advertising in print and online, over the telephone and face-to-face. You will also be responsible for selling sponsorship and tickets for awards as well as subscriptions, and will actively promote the benefits of the company and its products.

As the Senior TeleSales Executive (Media) you will be managing the full sales process in both Warm and sometimes Cold environments. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Identify sales opportunities within the Sales team
  • Manage your own portfolio of customers with full autonomy
  • Manage your own Sales revenue and call targets
  • Cultivate and maintain excellent business relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Sell the benefits of advertising and subscriptions in print and online, using high-level negotiating skills
  • Promote and represent the company at external events, selling the product and its culture
  • Assist with the planning and preparation for external events
  • Establish strong working relationships with different departments within the company

  • Demonstrable Media Sales or other telesales experience
  • Evidence of strong sales skills/process, communication, influencing and presentation skills
  • Experience of achieving and exceeding Sales targets
  • Excellent and confident telephone skills
  • Ability to create, maintain and rebuild customer relationships
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to attend conferences, exhibitions, seminars and Networking events
