Our client, based on the outskirts of Leeds, has been established 20 years and is a market leader in the Hospitality Industry.  They manufacturer and fit out Hotels with bespoke furniture & soft furnishings for clients such as Hilton, De Vere, Holiday Inn & Crowne Plaza.

The business continues to go from strength to strength and following significant investment, they are now looking for an experienced supervisor to join their growing team.  The machine shop manager position will report to the production manager.

Key responsibilities:-

·Manage daily dashboard meetings and keep information on dashboards up to date

·Work to weekly cut  plan and make sure work flows through each department to meet departmental deadlines

·Monitor progress of the days output requirements and feedback anything that may jeopardise customer expectation to production manager

·Attend daily supervisor meetings and give feedback

·Liaise with goods in to ensure all materials are available for the days and weeks production

·Ensure staff, with the correct skill levels are working to the correct production area in line with output requirements.

·Make sure QC procedure is adhered to on every work station

·Order skips, tooling and other consumables

·Care and maintenance of machinery shop plant and equipment

·Run preventative maintenance routines

Previous managerial experience is essential
