Test Technician

We're looking for a Test Technician for a temporary contract based in the Bar Hill area of Cambridge.  The job will involve configuring and testing products whilst following quality standards.  Ideally, you'll have an HNC in Engineering (or equivalent) and hopefully at least 1 years' test experience in a similar sort of role.  However, we're happy to consider you without the qualifications, if you have plenty of Test experience instead; about 3 years' would be great.  You'll be a fantastic person to have in a team and you'll be well organised and have brilliant problem solving skills. You should be willing to work with solvents.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Configure products with options, software and consumables
* Test products in line with procedures
* Fault find electrical, mechanical and fluid systems to component level and carry out repairs
* Monitor your own time spent on faultfinding and rectification
* Communicate any delays in test of products, which are likely to have an impact on the despatch times
* You'll help maintain a clean and tidy working area
* You're happy to work with solvents

What We're Looking For:

* Ideally an HNC in Engineering (or equivalent) along with at least 1 years' test experience in similar environment
* We'll consider you without the qualifications but you'll be likely to have at least 3 years' proven test experience instead.
