Our client is a newly formed organisation, following the successful amalgamation of two smaller housing associations in April 2017. It is an exciting time as we continue towards being fully integrated over the coming months and this work has created a number of new opportunities within the Communications & Marketing Team, based in Leicester.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Copywriter to join their dedicated team in the Midlands and they really want to hear from you if;
You have a flair for creative and effective writing and strong experience within the housing sector;
You have experience of working with the press and media and have an understanding of developing and implementing marketing plans;
You are educated to degree level.
This position will play a key role in communicating with our audiences, to raise the profile of their work, services and projects. This will include working with traditional media, as well as digital and social media. You will consistently create well-written and accurate content and information about their services and will be required to write different types of content from newsletter text, to reports, written letters, meeting notes and agenda's, press release drafts and social media content.
An innovative thinker with strong experience in a similar role, you will bring knowledge of communications and marketing, including social media use, which will help the new team set and deliver its objectives to ensure the customer remains at the heart of everything they do. They are looking for a highly motivated, creative and passionate individual to bring fresh ideas to an already established team.
They recognise that people are at the heart of their business and that success is dependant on enthusiastic and committed colleagues. They make sure they feel supported and encourage a culture of opportunity and learning to enable colleagues to fulfil their potential and make a real difference to people's lives every day.
In return for your commitment you can expect a competitive salary, generous holiday entitlement, pension scheme and employee discount scheme. As a responsible employer they take the health and wellbeing of their colleagues seriously, and are currently implementing a comprehensive health and wellbeing programme.
These are exciting times for their organisation which is at the beginning of a new era and this is an excellent opportunity to join them on their journey.
