Our client is a newly formed organisation, following the successful amalgamation of two smaller housing associations in April 2017.  It is an exciting time as they continue towards being fully integrated over the coming months and this work has created a number of new opportunities within the Communications & Marketing Team, based in Leicester.
They are looking for a highly motivated, creative and passionate individual to bring fresh ideas to an already established team. They are seeking for a Digital Communications Officer to join their dedicated team in the Midlands and they really want to hear from you if;
You are creative and have good knowledge of current digital trends;

You have experience of writing and editing for the web, with knowledge of digital publishing processes and content management systems;

You have extensive knowledge of digital platforms and technologies to maximize the effectiveness of communications channels;

You ideally have a background in social housing as you will assist in the development and delivery of their new communications strategies to best deliver key messages to their customers and stakeholders.
You will be responsible for the strategic planning, management and development of their website and both current and future digital media channels and our presence on social media, SMS communications and workflows and the production of promotional films.
They are looking for an innovative thinker with strong experience in a similar role, as you will bring knowledge of communications and marketing, including social media use, which will help the new team set and deliver its objectives to ensure the customer remains at the heart of everything they do.
You must have a degree in digital media/technologies or equivalent experience in a similar role and experience in a communications role at this or a similar level. It's going to be hard work bringing it all together, but your drive and creative flare will help to get them there.

They recognise that people are at the heart of their business and that success is dependant on enthusiastic and committed colleagues.  They make sure they feel supported and encourage a culture of opportunity and learning to enable colleagues to fulfil their potential and make a real difference to people's lives every day.

In return for your commitment you can expect a competitive salary, generous holiday entitlement, pension scheme and employee discount scheme.  As a responsible employer they take the health and wellbeing of their colleagues seriously, and are currently implementing a comprehensive health and wellbeing programme.

These are exciting times for their organisation which is at the beginning of a new era and this is an excellent opportunity to join them on their journey.
