Our Client has an exciting opportunity to teach and assess learners on structured Apprenticeship Provision and provide them with the necessary skills, motivation and knowledge to progress their chosen career. The Apprenticeship Programme ensures all learning content is tailored to individual needs, interests and aspirations.
They are now looking for an Apprenticeship Tutor, specialising in Health & Social Care, to join their team where you will deliver and promote Apprenticeships in this sector. This position is self-employed, where the caseload is currently circa 15, but, with your assistance, they anticipate this to increase to full capacity. The role will cover learners around the East Midlands - Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire - and Yorkshire & the Humber
The role involves delivering Level 5 Health and Social Care, and at a later date this may also include Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeship delivery. You will motivate and support learners to achieve their Apprenticeships; effectively managing a caseload of students, you will assess and coach them individually or within a group, delivering a bespoke programme which matches their needs.
They are looking for someone who has a Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (TAQA) A1, or D32,33 awards. With a Certificate in Education, PGCE or equivalent you will be able to deliver Functional Skills at level 2, and will have experience of tutoring or assessing in Health & Social Care. With management experience within a Health and Social Care environment, you will also have excellent communication skills, be IT literate and having a driving licence.
Please note that this is a regional role and you will be paid mileage and travel expenses.
