Senior Architectural Technician

Search Construction is looking to recruit a Senior Architectural Technician with management experience to head up a small team of Architectural Technician's in Fife.

Our client predominantly builds extensions for private customers & they are looking for someone who can take a design brief and work it up to a practical, fully costed and competent design.

Key requirements include:

• Minimum HND in Architectural Technology, preferably a degree.
• Sound, current knowledge of building standards & planning regulations.
• Practical experience of costs / budgets / estimating.
• Demonstrable management experience.

As well as managing the department, you will contribute to the drawing output, submitting applications to local authorities, monitoring completion certificates and preparing work menus for Joiners & Builders.

A high level of planning and organisational skills is essential as is experience in using AutoCAD.
