Remuneration: Circa GBP27,000 + package

Location: Avonnmouth

The BJD Group has been engaged to find an experienced, Warehouse First Line Manager who is experienced in Red Prairie to join a well established 3PL Company.

The position is based near Avonmouth, with a salary circa GBP27,000 with package.

The shifts for this role are any 5 out of 7 rotating 6am - 2pm /, 2pm - 10pm,

The Company

A well established and exciting 3PL, running a dedicated retail contract.

The Role

As Warehouse First Line Manager you will manage a team of approximately 20 clerks within the Planning and Systems department ensuring the orders are processed properly through the warehouse, while liaising with all other departments to ensure nothing is missed.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage you team including KPIs and performance reviews to ensure the best practice in culture.
• Work to high customer expectations to ensure all tasks a carried out in a timely manner, keeping in mind cost efficiency.
• Ensure accurate control of inventory and manage daily count schedules.
• Report on all stock discrepancies.

The Person

To apply for the position of Warehouse First Line Manager within Planning and Systems, you must have several years' planning management experience ideally with an operational background in a retail warehouse/distribution environment.

Experience with Red Prairie is a MUST - please do not apply if you haven't used Red Prairie.

• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Be IT literate and a proficient user of Excel and related WMS - Red Prairie.
• Able to demonstrate excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise across all areas within a organisation
• Proven track record in delivering continuous improvement within a warehouse planning operation.
