Permanent Contract

Full Time - 36 hours

Location: Home based with regular attendance at the Leeds regional office

Salary GBP22,173 - GBP26,086 per annum, plus pensions & benefits

Do you have the skills and passion for involving local people in saving historic buildings?

We are looking for someone to join a talented team to recruit, develop and support volunteer teams to ensure that a collection of 36 historic churches across three counties realise their potential as visitor attractions and venues for events.

The successful candidate will be based in one of the three counties of South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire that they will be covering.

You will have a track record of training, developing and managing volunteers and partnership groups, and experience of inspiring communities to run successful projects and events.

To make our high profile churches a success you'll be expected to use your initiative, be a sound negotiator, excellent communicator and be motivated by the challenge of delivering high standards at a distance and through others.
