Account Manager - Client Services - eCommerce
We are looking for an Account Manager on a permanent basis for us here at Salmon.
Key Responsibility:
If you are already an Account Manager or have the consultancy led ability to move into leading world class solutions for a top tier client then read on.
- Managing P&L GBP5m+
- C-level/senior manager client engagement
- Managing engagements with a leading UK and International brands
- Previous Client Services Director role or senior role within IT or Digital Trading company
- You will be accountable for all services into the client and manage a team of skilled professionals delivering Digital services to our clients. Day to day you will be working with your account Programme Manager, Innovation lead/MC lead to deliver projects that create immediate value and also help define the right digital future for our clients.
- Accountable for the overall revenue growth, site performance and new program implementation and adaptation
- Achieve annual sales revenue targets and other goals for key accounts
- Own and manage the commercial relationship with the customer including contracts for consultancy and programme delivery along with clear and defined SLA management within support
- Form close working relationships with all stakeholders, team members and cross-functional support groups to ensure Salmon and client teams deliver the best outcomes possible for the client
- Deep understanding of eCommerce/multi-channel customer solutions and managing the internal impacts within the client organisation

The techy bit... we need you to be really great at:
- Experience of either delivering multi-channel solutions in a business trading, IT delivery or relevant client management ideally within retail or consumer services
- Consultancy and client value led approach to delivering clients' needs and defining the client roadmap
- Strong stakeholder and organisational skills, entrepreneurial attitude, proactive business style
- Up to date with market trends and able advise clients on appropriate strategies
- Know-how required to ensure we deliver on our promises to clients in executing against plans
- Building and fostering strong client relationships at all levels in the client organisation
- Provide accurate revenue forecasting, account reviews, strategic account plans and general sales data as required
Exposure to some of the following areas would be beneficial
- Experience of managing an account P and L
- Experience of fixed price delivery projects and excellent risk management skills
- Excellent negotiation skills and an ability to handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy
- Good commercial knowledge, experience of contract negotiations
- Quantitative and analytical skills and full understanding of ROI analysis
- Experience in a trading or delivery role within eCommerce
