Mechanical Fitter - Cheltenham - Permanent - Days

We have 4 permanent opportunities for experienced mechanical fitters working for a bespoke company based in Cheltenham; the mechanical fitter roles will be working on the fitting and assembly of machine parts to engineering drawings.

This role incorporates the use of hand tools, measuring equipment and pipe fitting among other skills.

We are looking for candidates for the following for the mechanical fitter roles: -

• Ability to fit and assemble machine parts to drawings
• Capable of using grinding wheels, drills and deburring tools (also drilling/tapping) and pipework
• Strip down and repair of tools where necessary

The mechanical fitter roles will be working in-house reporting to the Production Manager and working on a day shift pattern; the company can offer the following for these mechanical fitters opportunities: -
