Pilgrims' Way is a forward thinking school who adapts to the needs of our children. We are very fortunate to have hard working pupils and staff who make the school a very enjoyable place to be! We are looking for an intervention teacher who would be keen and proud to join our team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate consistently good practice and be bold enough to try new approaches. The Leadership Team are supportive and enthusiastic - we trust our staff's judgement and always seek to support our staff in whatever way we can. We believe there is no 'one size fits all' and welcome discussion around further school improvements.

The position is suitable for both NQTs and more experienced teachers and has been created as a result of the school's rising popularity. This post is temporary in the first instance.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.

Information about the school

Pilgrims' Way is a dynamic, inclusive and hardworking school with 360 pupils and a rising role. We have two classes per year group. The school prides itself on its motto of 'Work hard. Be kind' and this permeates all that we do. The school is very fortunate to have an exceptionally keen and willing community - staff, volunteers and children. Ofsted found that 'Without exception, school staff from senior leaders to teachers, teaching assistants and office staff demonstrate positive attitudes and support towards the school's pupils and families, including those who are vulnerable.' We are proud of what we do and work hard to be the best we can.

Our School and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children. This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
