Estimator - Groundworks / Civil Engineering - Essex
A successful and highly respected Groundworks and RC frame contractor are looking for an experienced Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.
As the Estimator, you will be required to perform full tenders, estimates, bids and produce Bills of Quantities. You will have to perform cost estimating and budgeting exercises. You will have to liaise closely with the client and work within the time scale given to understand their requirements, through to tender submission. You should have the ability to analyse tender documentation to assess the potential impacts and have the capability to read and understand technical drawings.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal part of the commercial team with a well-established and expanding company.
You should be an experienced Estimator, with a proven background of estimating groundworks and infrastructure projects and ideally qualified to HNC standard or above in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000 + Company Car / Car Allowance
