Civil Manager - Hinckly C - 278 Works
My client is a prestigious National Contractor and has secured over GBP1.BN of building & civil engineering contracts on Hinkley C.
They require a Civils Manager to oversee the 278 works and additional civil infrastructure on site.
This will be a challenging project directing a busy main road and will involve a high proportion of temporary works management.
Furthermore, this individual will oversee see a team of Senior Engineer & Site Engineers, whilst overseeing multiple civil engineering contractors on site.
Duties:
• Implementation of Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
• Delivery of the project in a safe and efficient manner
• Manage, co-ordinate and report on construction works
• Oversee construction in accordance with required designs and specifications on site
• Contribute towards efficient design development
• Upfront project planning including programming, construction methodology and safe methods of working.
• Assist in project resource planning
• Assist in labour co-ordination and management
• Oversee and verify works performed by subcontractors
• Liaise with external suppliers and customers
