CGS Contractors are seeking a reliable, hard-working and dedicated individual to join their Garden Maintenance and Soft Landscaping Department.  The perfect person will have experience in gardening professionally and good horticultural knowledge. The postholders main role is to maintain a range of gardens for commercial and private customers and ensure there are kept to a high standard.

The postholder will undertake a variety of functions including:

• Grass cutting and strimming
• Planting and maintenance of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants
• Clearing and tending to the grounds/land
• Litter picking
• Hedge trimming
• Upkeep of pathways and footpaths
• Digging
• Pruning
• Weeding
• Landscaping
• Lawncare and grounds maintenance
• Garden clearance
• Supply and Lay of Seeded Lawn Turf

Essentials:

• Full Driving Licence
• You must be Reliable, as you will be an integral part of a team
• You must be Punctual
• This role is customer facing and therefore good communication skills are essential
• Generally to be willing, helpful, enthusiastic and flexible.
• To be able to work as part of a team
• Open to attend training programmes to increase individual skills and knowledge

Desirable:

• City & Guilds NPTC Level 2 in Horticulture
• CSCS
