As Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will be:
- Managing the planned and reactive maintenance activities for a range of plant and equipment
- Maintaining a budget to record costs, and analysing the current equipment to aid with the justification of modified or new equipment
- Manage and coordinate (working closely with the Manufacturing Manager) the activities of your sub-contractors
- Liaise with your colleagues in all departments to help provide ideas for improving processes and equipment
- You will also be a key holder for any out of hours issues
About you:
- Qualified to IEE 17th Edition (essential)
- Experienced with pneumatics, hydraulics and PLC controllers
- Able to demonstrate skills in electro-mechanical maintenance
- Understanding of PUWER and LOLER regulations and MEWP licensed
- Previous experience in coordinating sub-contractors
- Proven ability to schedule planned maintenance work, using effective systems and processes
- If you have the above experience in a timber processing/woodworking/sawmill environment, this would be of particular interest
