Electro Plater

We Urgently require an Electro Plater to join a thriving Derbyshire based Engineering business.

The ideal candidate will have the experience of coating various metal parts with a layer of Copper,Silver,Nickel or Chromium.

Main Duties are:

1) Monitor all parts as they are put into plating baths/tanks
2) Inspect all parts and prepare for dispatch
3) Set up plating machinery and maintain
4) Keep accurate records of all parts plated
5) Set temperature dials to tanks/baths to prescribed levels
6) Removal of plated parts from hooks or racks and then examine all plated products for defects ie rough spots
7) Moving light to heavy parts to dispatch area
8) Drain and clean solutions from plating baths/sinks

Strength to handle materials, tools and machines
Good hand-eye coordination
Able to work in a team
Able to work independently
Patience
Accuracy
No skin or breathing allergies

Company will also consider a keen and enthusiastic applicant with some engineering experience who is willing to train as a Electro Plater

This is a 15 week Temp to Perm position with excellent career prospects
