An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic individual who thrives on the challenges that 'face to face' customer service brings.
We are looking for a Customer Service Officer to join our Customer Experience team at Kettering Station as General Purpose Relief.
A key focus of this role is to maintain a high level presence on the station, directing and assisting customers as necessary, providing exceptional customer service at all times, as well as ensuring the safe and prompt dispatch of all services.
Customer Service excellence is at the heart of everything we do at East Midlands Trains. As a Customer Service Officer you will be flexible in your approach to work and strive to provide a seamless customer experience to all of our customers.

The successful candidate will demonstrate effective communication and customer service skills along with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
A working knowledge of Railway Rules and Regulations would be an advantage, but a positive attitude is essential.
This role is a safety critical position therefore the successful candidate will be required to undertake a safety critical medical and drug screening. An element of the safety critical medical is the satisfactory completion of a railway standard colour vision test. Please note that candidates that are short listed for interview will be required to sit and pass a SCAAT (Safe Concentration and Attention) Test.
