ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
IPS Finance is supporting a marketing company in York in the recruitment of an assistant accountant to support the finance manager.
Working as part of a small friendly team the appointed candidate will gain a broad range of experience in a number of finance tasks. This will include;
Assisting in preparing month end management accounts and year-end financial accounts
Reconciliation of company bank accounts
Processing month end VAT returns
Raising sales invoices and ensuring payment
Posting purchase invoices from suppliers and ensuring timely BACS payments
The business uses Sage 200 and good excel skills would also be beneficial.
Study support for AAT or ACCA will be considered.
