About the role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Planning Manager to join our Rail team to work in Newport.
What you'll be doing
As an Assistant Planning Manager you will:
- Line Manager to the planning team
- Manage the reporting cycle
- Produce periodic reports
- Perform earned value management analysis
- Change control management
- Work in conjunction with Configuration Manager
- Work in conjunction with the Project Controls Co-ordinator.
- Control and manage logic interfaces
- Oversee update of P6 programme
- Oversee risk management
- Produce Excel dashboards and Access database.
Who we're looking for
You will:
- Have previous experience in a similar role
- Have an extensive understanding of Excell and MS Access
- Have an extensive planner background
- Ideally, hold a Planning related degree/qualification
