C - C++ Linux Software Engineers - Future system architectures
Bristol, GBP 45K - 75K'ish
An excellent opportunity for capable software Engineers, of all levels, to join the Advanced Technology group of this world leading high performance computing company, in their new European research and Development headquarters.
You will become an important member of a very high calibre team of software developers and system architects, all innovative, passionate and focused people who work together to build powerful technologies that solve the world's most challenging problems.
To join this elite team you will need -
- an exceptional academic background in Computer Science or Electronics, culminating in at least a good Degree
- a real love and passion for computer technology (open source published, patents, hacker, code jams etc.)
- good C - C++ programming experience gained from technically challenging projects
- excellent Linux development skills, ideally with Kernel or drivers, services into middleware development experience
Any experience of the following is a bonus -
- Virtualisation or containerisation
- High Speed Networks
- Parallel programming
- High Performance Architectures
