Northumberland College has two main campuses, Ashington and Kirkley Hall, and centres at Hexham, Blyth and Berwick. We offer hundreds of full-time and part-time courses, work with students aged 14-18, mature students, higher education students and employers from numerous industry sectors.

North East Collaborative Outreach Programme has attracted significant funding to attract students from across Northumberland to progress into Higher Education. The particular target group for this project is white males aged 16 to 19 and the particular focus is on progression to STEM subjects. You will be expected to work closely with school sixth form students and staff, STEM centre HE staff and local STEM employers to raise awareness and promote progression

Successful candidates will hold a degree or equivalent and must have a proven track record of supporting widening participation and encouraging student progression to Higher Education. You must also have excellent communication skills and be able to analyse data and identify target groups of learners and also monitor progress against the aims of the project
