Mechanical Inspector

re you an experienced Mechanical Inspector or perhaps a Machinist who has good self inspection experience?
Are you able to read and interpret engineering drawings?
Do you have some experience with operating a CMM (programming not essential)?

If the answer is yes I have an opportunity to work in the quality department of a world renowned Aerospace manufacturer.

The role is offered on a permanent basis with a salary up to GBP26500 for the successful candidate.

You will be undertaking mechanical inspection of aerospace components and finished assemblies, working to engineering drawings and using traditional inspection methods as well as a CMM (this will be trained although there would be an expectation of some experience of operating)

The successful candidate will have the following experience and knowledge:

Mechanical Inspection / Self Inspection is from a machining background
Experience of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
A background in manufacturing / engineering
Experience of using traditional inspection tools and equipment (verniers, micrometers, gauges etc)
Working knowledge of GDT (geometrical dimensional tolerancing)
Experience of using hand tools
Operating a CMM machine
