Melbreck Technical Recruitment is currently working with a special purpose machinery manufacturer based in Bedfordshire. Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Team Leader.
You will be involved with leading projects anda team of nine mechanical design engineers.
The successful candidate should have:
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent in engineering
- Experience in leading a team of mechanical engineers in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Thorough understanding of stress analysis and application to new designs
- Extensive experience with 3d design tools
Advantageous:
- Experience in capital equipment/ heavy equipment/design for large machines (up to 100tonnes)
- Experienceof stress analysis and dynamic simulation
- Experience with large rotating machines
