To complement the Estates Maintenance function, we are seeking to employ a suitably qualified Mechanical Engineer to manage and deliver building services engineering projects across the University Estate.
You will take a leading role in the development of the Estate engineering systems and in the identification, determination and evaluation of projects for inclusion in future programmes.
You will be required to:
* Develop mechanical engineering design standards, systems and processes;
* Undertake building services mechanical design;
* Produce tender documentation for projects and frameworks;
* Project manage installation and maintenance works to programme, time, budget and quality;
* Develop maintenance strategies for inclusion within our CAFM system;
* Manage BIM, O&M and H&S elements;
* Provide technical support and advice to the maintenance team.
Able to work under your own initiative, with minimal direct supervision, you will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, possess the ability to maintain records, electronic, and written and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, students and staff.
