Our client are the leading integrator of highways technology and are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Stores/Warehouse Person to join their Bristol team
What you will do
The main purpose of the role is to effectively run the stores function ensuring the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective sourcing and ordering of materials and efficient stock control in line with business need. The control of red/green label spares holding along with the distribution of spares/materials in support of the operational teams. You will also be responsible for the production of inventory reports supporting the control of the minimum/maximum holding expectations. The role also requires the provision of equipment calibration and repair chain facilities to maximise equipment availability.
What we are looking for
In order to fulfill the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experience required:
- GCSE's (or equivalent) in English, Maths & Sciences
- Previous stores/stock control experience using a stock control - system/software.
- Fork lift truck licence
- Ability to provide installation assistance when required
- Attention to detail.
- Customer focused attitude.
- Organised, trustworthy and self-motivated
- Full driving licence
