B2 Licensed Engineer - Hangar Leeds

Reporting to the Crew Chief, the B2 Licensed Engineer is responsible for carrying out base maintenance on the Jet2.com fleet of B737 and B757 aircraft. This position ensures that all avionics maintenance work is carried out on time and to a high standard.

You will undertake scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with the relevant statutory requirements and Jet2.com Company policy. You will be involved in avionics related rectification and repair, heavy checks and installations in the Hangar environment. You will carry out inspections as required and liaise closely with line maintenance to ensure smooth transition of aircraft into and out of the Hangar. In addition, you will ensure that all documentation under your control is complete and recorded correctly and that you operate a clean and tidy work area.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at a technical level with staff at all levels. You will be European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) B2 qualified with experience working on commercial aircraft. It would be advantageous if you hold current approvals for both B737 and B757 aircraft and have a full UK driving license.
