Having employees with a wide range of skills, knowledge, creativity, innovation and energy is important to us, and allows us to be the industry leaders we are.NATS is recruiting for a Technical Services Delivery Manager-South to lead the delivery of operational service desk, customer advocacy & H24 operational technical services for Swanwick Command Centre and Southern Operations ensuring they continue to meet performance targets to internal and external customers and stakeholders including safety, resilience and availability in support of NATS strategic outcomes.Principle Accountabilities Lead the delivery of operational service desk and H24 operational technical services (Level 0&1), including customer advocacy to support systems, including Centres, Airports and Infrastructure ensuring that all systems deliver safely within relevant regulation and within agreed tolerances Implement and continuously improve the provision of a NATS operational service desk that supports the strategic shift from an Asset base to a service base delivery Provide leadership and guidance to immediate management team to ensure all systems are maintained and supported to deliver current and future business needs Manage and develop an engineering team focused on providing operational services to all required standards Challenge existing practice and continuously improve ways of working in order to accelerate Service Operations towards achieve improved operational performance Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally to ensure effective engagement and delivery of key operational engineering services within agreed constraints Champion Customer Relationship Management (CRM) across NATS adding to improve overall delivery capability and enable business development opportunities Create the conditions that deliver a highly competent, energetic, engaged and motivated workforce who are committed and aligned to delivery outcomes Work as an integral member of the Operational delivery senior leadership team Qualifications and Skills Chartered Engineer or equivalent of knowledge & skills acquired through experience, other qualifications and training/development Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative solutions at an operational, tactical and strategic level Extensive track record of leading and delivering a significant portfolio of change within all constraints, able to take 'tough' decisions and see the required action through Strong and credible leadership, able to pull people together across different services and systems and motivate them to deliver common aims and targets Deep understanding of developing trends in the air traffic market and related technologies to provide a context for the development of NATS strategy Strong analytical and conceptual reasoning skills and highly effective communication skills Strong, credible impact, with a capability to resolve conflict; build, maintain and utilise relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimum business goals Collaborative working style with a clear and relentless focus on delivering outcomes Additional Vacancy InformationIn addition to salary, NATS offers a range of excellent benefits which includes a bonus, BUPA, Dental Cover, 26 days leave plus statutory leave and a top class contributory DC pension scheme.This application can be provided in paper form or large printClosing date: 15/08/2017
