Thermal Engineer job vacancy. Automotive / vehicle thermodynamics, thermal management, HVAC, powertrain cooling systems, 1-D modelling and simulation. World Class automotive research and development organisation with ambitious domestic and international growth plans. Role would suit a Thermal Engineer, Thermodynamics Engineer or Automotive Engineer with a thermal / thermodynamics background.
Salary: GBP35K - GBP50K dependent upon experience, plus bonus, pension (6-9% company contribution), 27 days holiday entitlement, sick pay and other benefits.

This Thermal Systems Engineer job will suit:
- A Thermal Systems Engineer, Thermodynamics Engineer, Automotive Engineer or similar with experience of automotive / vehicle thermal management.
- Strong thermodynamics background.
- An Engineer with Modelling and Simulation (1-D) experience using industry standard software e.g. GT-Suite.
- Any exposure to vehicle climatic testing, thermal system testing, thermal comfort, climatic control would be beneficial but NOT essential.
- You are likely to be degree qualified or (hold an equivalent level of experience) in a mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or similar discipline.

- Develop, correlate and validate 1-D models of HVAC and Powertrain cooling systems.
- Analyse both test and simulation data and prepare technical reports.
