HR Officer - Northamptonshire - up to GBP30,000

Search HR are exclusively supporting a leading commercial business with an enviable market share, who are now looking to appoint an experienced HR generalist to support a busy operations site in Northamptonshire.

As HR Officer you will need to have a broad generalist background and be willing to support at all levels. You'll be adept at dealing with employee relations and confident to give advice and guidance to staff and managers at all levels. Communication and relationships are key in this business and as such you'll have the autonomy to create and maintain your own key relationships with stakeholders.

As part of a small team you get close support from the Senior HR leaders but will be given the flexibility to manager your own day and work load. One of the key parts of this role will be for someone to take ownership of the recruitment processes, as such you'll have the ability to work with managers on creating job descriptions, adverts, sifting, screening and arranging interviews - ensuring the very best talent joins the organisation. HR processes and administration are still the backbone to the department and as such you'll need to able to create offer letters and contracts as well as setting up new starters and organising inductions etc.

This will be a busy role, fast paced with a high volume of work. However for the right person this is a great chance to step up in to a role with flexibility and autonomy. You'll be a key part of the team that will be delivering ongoing change management and helping to driver performance at the site. You'll be instrumental in helping the appraisal process and supporting with performance management with skills, tools and processes.

We expect that you'll be CIPD qualified or part qualified and have experience of a similar generalist HR role in a fast paced commercial environment such as logistics, warehousing, transport, manufacturing or FMCG.
