We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Manager to join The Forward Trust to oversee the management and strategic planning of our new community services in East Kent.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for line managing a number of Service Managers, and also, in conjunction with the Director of Services, take the lead on strategic issues including contract management, service development, monitoring, and business planning.

You will work collaboratively with the Audit Manager and Head of Governance and Quality to ensure all units are compliant with Corporate Governance and CQC standards.

To be successful in this role you will hold (or be working towards) a Level 5 Management qualification, and a thorough understanding of providing drug and alcohol services, including addiction treatment programs, within a prison or community service. You need to have a thorough understanding of Recovery approaches and experience of managing staff in a therapeutic environment.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be confident in planning and managing the strategic expansion of Forward's contracts and area presence. You will be a professional, confident and positive individual with a supportive and flexible approach to management
