Trainee Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join my clients Commercial team based in their Wakefield office reporting to the Commercial Director.

My Client is a respected national homebuilder with an established reputation for building outstanding quality family homes and providing excellent customer service.
Description
You will be responsible for carrying out procurement of subcontract trades, assisting the Surveyor with internal cost reporting and external valuations. Assist in the financial management cost control of subcontract trades, assist/carry out estimates and pricing variations. Review different construction methods for commercial feasibility, carry out specific surveying duties re-measurement exercises etc. You will also provide general assistance to the senior surveyor in their day to day duties.
Profile
You should possess excellent organisational and time management skills along with the ability to effectively prioritise and delegate against strict deadlines and be highly customer focused.
You should have or be working towards a recognised degree / HND or equivalent in a Build Environment discipline or in a Commercial / Surveying related discipline.

Salary GBP22,000- GBP30,000 depending on experience
