Design Draughtperson
Our chosen business partner are focused on establishing leading market positions by providing innovative construction systems and solutions with a global reach. Within their core area of business, they have established an enviable position as a global leader in the design and manufacture of high quality building systems.
Key Responsibilities;
An opportunity has arisen for a talented individual to join a busy design team employed to produce manufacturing drawings. The individual will be tasked with working on exciting projects for a market leading business in the manufacture and supply of a wide range of unique architectural rainscreen facades in a variety of materials. The role involves the generation of parts, assemblies and drawings using the sheet metal function within Solidworks.
The candidate will need to be able to liaise with both internal and external teams to ensure compliance with the clients' requirements and that the details produced are in-line with our clients manufacturing capabilities and product definitions.
The design team is a fast paced environment where speed and accuracy are prerequisite requirements as is the need to be flexible in your approach to work.
Key Requirements;
Ideally the candidate should have experience of producing manufacturing details of architectural facades and general aluminium fabrication.
A good understanding of rainscreen construction methods.
The candidate must have experience of using Solidworks and Autocad.
The candidate must be able to produce accurate details working to very tight deadlines with minimum supervision. Strong problem solving skills and a positive attitude are required.
