The position provides an exciting career opportunity for a self-motivated and highly skilled Multi-Disciplined Engineer with experience in security and/or fire alarms to undertake a varied and busy field based role.

Who will I be working with?
Jackson Fire and Security is one of the leading independent fire and security solutions providers and has been rapidly expanding the operations across the UK. The company has grown steadily since it formed in 1991 and is now one of the most respected solutions led companies operating in the field. Offering installation and maintenance services, Jackson offers a wide range of solutions from basic fire extinguishers through to large commercial installations. Recent investment at the head office in Mold, North Wales, included commissioning of a £30,000 bespoke training room to enable Engineers to brush up on fire and security alarm repair and maintenance skills. It boasts seven complete alarm systems including Siemens and Honeywell for new recruits to train on.
So, what will the role of Fire Alarm and Security Systems Engineer entail?
As part of a team of 11 Engineers focused on providing support at customer sites in the North Wales and North West England region, your allocated tasks will include;
- Installing, servicing and commissioning small to medium sized fire and intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
- Providing certification for installed and serviced systems to comply with relevant British standards
- Identifying potential opportunities where customers could benefit from using additional services
- Managing own diary to ensure allocated work is completed on time
- Attending the head office in Mold, North Wales for weekly meetings and stock collection
What will I need to be considered?
- Experience with installing, servicing and commissioning fire and/or security systems (training will be provided for the other systems where required)
- Client focused approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Enthusiasm and professional attitude
- Ability to manage own work load with minimal supervision
- Full UK driving licence
Due to the nature of the business, successful applicants will be subject to a satisfactory DBS and BS7858 checks.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 dependent on experience, plus attractive bonuses.

Hours of Work: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Flexibility may be required to support business and client needs.
