Jobe Specification:
* Work for the scheme project manager and closely with the civils construction manager throughout the duration of a scheme to ensure successful delivery.
* Work with other engineers & managers within M&E team to achieve outputs
* Manage design deliverables with design consultants & in house design engineers.
* Attend & arrange design & construction meetings throughout the duration of the project.
* Maintain a variation log detailing changes in scope.
* Generate M&E programmes and manage through construction.
* Manage Procurement Schedule and monitor & amend regularly as required.
* Assist estimators with preparation of Cost Estimates.
* Work closely with quantity surveyors throughout the scheme ensure monitoring & control of project costs
* Source suppliers, obtain supplier quotations, order & monitor equipment deliveries.
* Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports.
* Prepare/review method statements and risk assessments (with construction team) Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging
* Carry out document control, recording & transmitting information & drawings using the document control system.
* Prepare documents for inclusion in the Operations & Maintenance manual.
* Compile an Operations & Maintenance manual for handover to the client/operations team.
Experience & Qualifications:
* Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a Project Engineering role ideally within the water industry.
* In depth knowledge of water and wastewater processes.
* Qualified to minimum HNC/HND level or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, process or civil engineering.
* Be a member of professional institution ie IET, IMechE, ICE.
* Be an Incorporated Engineer or working towards it with one of the above institutions.
* Have working knowledge of Microsoft packages ie Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Project
* Have working knowledge of AutoCAD.
* Current driving licence
* Own vehicle
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
