About the Role
The Journals End User Marketing team seeks an Associate Marketing Manager to devise and deliver results-driven marketing strategies across a number of our high profile Humanities, Social Science, and Law Journals. You will have a direct relationship with key journals and societies and the confidence, diplomacy, and flexibility to help you win support for your marketing plans.
Duties will include:
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to contribute to strategic journal development plans
- Devising annual marketing strategies using the full marketing mix, including digital and social media marketing, exhibitions (including some international travel), and PR
- Preparing and managing marketing budgets
- Presenting marketing reports and plans at editorial board meetings
- Regular communication with external clients via email, telephone, and face to face meetings
- Line management of at least one direct report, including responsibility for recruitment, appraisals, and staff development
About You
You will have already gained significant experience in a marketing environment, including writing and implementing marketing plans and developing marketing strategies. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, and the ability to build strong relationships both internally and with external stakeholders.
You embrace change, are positive under pressure, and enjoy the support of an interactive team. You will be well organized and have the time-management skills to be able to prioritize a challenging workload, and will have the ability to work on your own initiative.
