''UK-wide commissioning vacancies with a leading specialist solutions contractor''

THE COMPANY

An international specialist solutions contractor are looking for dynamic and competent commissioning engineers to join them on several upcoming projects nationwide. With multiple multi-million-pound construction projects across the UK now entering the commissioning stage, this is the perfect time to get a foot in the door with this forward-thinking leading supplier.

THE ROLE

In this role, you'll jump straight in as part of a team of commissioning engineers responsible for testing, fault-finding and problem-solving on multiple pieces of kit throughout the plant. You'll work from engineering drawings and use your first-hand commissioning knowledge and experience to make sure all kit is operational in time to meet tight deadlines. Your remit will include kit such as turbines, boilers, mechanical and electrical systems and balance of plant, so there's plenty to keep your brain ticking. Daily duties will include inspections on all equipment and wet/dry testing, as well as reviewing operational procedures and compiling technical reports based on your findings. With 6 month contracts on offer across Energy from Waste locations around the UK, this is an opportunity not to be missed!

THE CANDIDATE

This role is the perfect opportunity for you as an experienced commissioning engineer to sink your teeth into a good-sized contract on an innovative new construction project. You will be working on a large and complex site, so you've got to be up for a challenge! You'll need to have extensive commissioning knowledge from energy from waste or similar industries and be ready to get stuck in from day one. The role will involve working as part of a team, liaising with other specialist contractors onsite and completing commissioning reports, so strong communications skills are essential. Ideally, you'll be mechanically biased, but electrical experience and knowledge of commissioning on major plants with process kit are essential too. If this sounds like you, you're looking at your next contract!
