As a leading FE College and one of the largest providers of Apprenticeships in the South East, Sussex Coast College Hastings is currently recruiting for a full time Engineering Assessor. The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience assessing NVQs in Engineering up to level 4
- Have experience working on a 1-2-1 basis or small groups
- Hold an A1 Assessors qualification or equivalent
- Have a background/ qualification in Engineering
- Be willing to travel in and around the local area
- Have experience or willingness to use an e-portfolio system
Main duties:
- Conduct assessment needs of learners
- Provide appropriate information, advice, teaching and learning relevant to the individual
- Work closely with employers and curriculum staff to ensure timely completion and achievement
- Plan, manage & organize a caseload of learners
